In the operating environment of modern industrial equipment, high temperature operation has become a common phenomenon. Whether in metallurgy, chemical industry, automobile manufacturing, or in the fields of electronics and electrical engineering, equipment often needs to work continuously and stably under high temperature, strong corrosion or high mechanical stress conditions. This places strict requirements on high temperature resistant wires in electrical systems. High temperature insulated wire has become an ideal choice for electrical wiring of industrial equipment with its excellent thermal stability and aging resistance.
Compared with ordinary PVC wires, high temperature resistant wires have a higher heat resistance level and can operate stably for a long time at temperatures of 125℃ to 250℃ or even higher. Especially in high temperature ovens, injection molding machines, heating equipment, motors and other scenarios, the insulation material of the wire is directly related to system safety. High temperature silicone cable is particularly suitable for dynamic applications that require long-term operation at high temperature due to its excellent flexibility, aging resistance, ozone resistance and corrosion resistance.
In many automated production lines, equipment must maintain 24-hour continuous operation at high temperature. Taking the plastic extruder as an example, the temperature of the equipment heating zone is usually above 180℃. In this environment, ordinary wires are very easy to age and break. High temperature silicone cable not only performs well in insulation performance, but also has good softness, which is convenient for installation in narrow or curved spaces and reduces the complexity of equipment wiring.
At the same time, in heat treatment equipment in the steel and metallurgical industries, high temperature silicone cables are also widely used due to their excellent heat resistance and fire resistance. Even under short-term extremely high temperature shock, the silicone layer can maintain basic insulation and mechanical strength, minimizing the risk of fire.
In addition to silicone cables, the demand for UL certified wires in the industrial field is also increasing year by year. UL certification not only means that the product meets international standards in safety and reliability, but also provides a strong quality endorsement for corporate exports. UL1015 wire, UL1007 wire, and UL1061 wire are some of the representative high temperature resistant wires.
UL1015 wire: Rated temperature is 105℃, widely used in internal wiring of electric control cabinets and industrial equipment wires, with good oil resistance and wear resistance.
UL1007 wire: Rated temperature is 80℃, suitable for internal connection of general electronic equipment and instrument wiring.
UL1061 wire: Also used for internal wiring of electronic products, but with smaller size and better flexibility, suitable for high-density wiring environments with limited space.
For example, in the PLC control cabinet of automated machinery, UL1015 wire and UL1061 wire are often used in combination to achieve reasonable distribution of power, signal and control lines. High-standard UL certified wires ensure stable power supply even if the equipment runs under high load for a long time.
In processes such as food processing, laboratories and electronic component drying, the internal temperature of the oven often exceeds 150℃. Using high temperature silicone cable and high temperature insulated wire can effectively avoid carbonization and cracking of the insulation layer of ordinary wires and improve the service life of equipment.
Long-term operation of high-power motors will generate a lot of heat. UL1015 wire is often used for wiring inside and outside the motor, providing dual protection of heat resistance and mechanical strength.
The chemical production environment is not only high in temperature, but also often accompanied by strong acid and alkali corrosion. The silicone and fluoroplastic sheaths of high-temperature resistant wires can resist chemical erosion and ensure the safety of line insulation.
In industrial control cabinets, robot arms and automatic sorting equipment, UL1007 wire and UL1061 wire are used for low-voltage signal transmission and complex wiring to meet the flexibility requirements of high-density wiring.
When selecting high-temperature resistant wires, it is necessary to consider the temperature range, mechanical load, space conditions and chemical environment of the application scenario. For high-temperature environments with higher requirements, high temperature silicone cable and UL1015 wire are better choices; while in ordinary electronic equipment, UL1007 wire and UL1061 wire are sufficient to meet most wiring needs.
At the same time, maintenance is equally important. Regular inspection of the insulation appearance of wires, measurement of insulation resistance, and timely replacement of aging or damaged cables can effectively reduce the failure rate and safety hazards.
High temperature resistant wires are not only the basis for the safe and stable operation of industrial equipment, but also the key link to achieve automated production and high-efficiency operation. With the continuous upgrading of industrial technology, diversified high temperature resistant wires will continue to play an important role. Reasonable selection and scientific maintenance will create a safer and more efficient production environment for enterprises.
